Visit Sigma Chi’s Canada House hospitality suite to view historical materials, pictures and artifacts, as well as to ask questions of and get recommendations from local Sigs. Be sure to check in each day, as a special event will be offered. Explore Canada House to experience all that is unique to Grand Chapter’s host country this year.
Undergraduate Delegate Voting for International Sweetheart | Frontenac | 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
The Member Engagement Committee invites all alumni to hear about their work and the progress made towards achieving the Fraternity’s strategic plan, including the Sigma Chi Career Advantage. Join us for the final business session of Grand Chapter, where we’ll swear in our new Grand Officers and hear from 73rd Grand Consul Bob Wilson, FORT HAYS 1981, for the first time.
2022-2023 Significant Sig Awards Ceremony | Frontenac | 4:30-6 p.m.
All Grand Chapter guests are welcome to attend the awards ceremony recognizing the 2022 and 2023 classes of Significant Sig Award honorees. Since introducing the award at the 1935 Grand Chapter, the Fraternity has presented the Significant Sig Award to those Fraternity members who have brought honor and prestige to their organization through their outstanding professional achievements.
Celebration of Sigma Chi Reception | Metropolitan Center | 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Generously sponsored by 72nd Grand Consul Tim Sanderson, WESTERN 1985; Mark McKay, WATERLOO 1987; the Dalhousie-St. Mary’s house corporation and the Halifax Alumni Chapter, this reception honors the 100th anniversary Sigma Chi in Canada. This special event within Sigma Chi’s Canada House hospitality suite will provide guests with a special opportunity to sample traditional Canadian foods and beverages. View historical materials, pictures and artifacts and experience all that is unique to Grand Chapter’s host country this year.
Celebration of Sigma Chi Banquet | Metropolitan Center | 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The capstone celebration of the 84th Grand Chapter brings together brothers and guests to celebrate the monumental successes of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Participants will join with leaders from the Fraternity past and present in congratulating award winners and honorees, witness the crowning of a new International Sweetheart, and watch as a new Grand Consul assumes the mantle. This is the largest gathering opportunity for Sigma Chis to celebrate what makes this fraternity truly the most beloved and respected among all.
