Salt Lake City, known as “the crossroads of the West” for
connecting the East railroad and the West railroad in 1869, is home to plenty
of outdoor attractions like hiking, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing and fishing.
While you plan your trip to Salt Lake City for the 82nd Grand Chapter,
keep in mind the numerous activities you may want to extend your stay for. First
is visiting the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Sigma Chi International Fraternity’s
preferred philanthropic partner.
You may also want to visit the Great Salt Lake or the five
national parks Utah has to offer. Just 32 miles from Salt Lake City you can
find yourself exploring the Utah
Olympic Park in “winter’s favorite town,” Park City, Utah. Park City’s website
also offers a summer activities section including golf, fly fishing, horseback riding,
hot air ballooning and more.
Join us on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 9:30-10 a.m. for a live broadcast of the Tabernacle Choir “Music and Spoken Word”. Our local Sigma Chi chapter will have a booth at Little America on Thursday and Friday and you can sign-up there for your complimentary VIP seating. All must be seated by 9 a.m.
